We have two beautiful new banners that we will display for the first time at the Fall Festival on September 24th!  Why don't you come out and see them?

The exterior painting of the Lloyd House is complete and the house looks fantastic!!  Here are some "before" pictures.

We are also continuing to work on the bathroom at the Lloyd House.  We are now putting up drywall on the walls so we can then put down the floor and connect the plumbing.  We already have the copper pipe,...

The Mt. Washington Fall Festival is coming up on September 24th, and we will have 2 booths at the festival!  One of them will have games for children, and the other one will have information about the society, brochures, and a model from the Lloyd House.  Most importantly, we are raffling off a Country Ham and Fixin's at the festival!  If you are interested in buying a raffle ticket, they are $1 each or 6 for $5.  Why don't you come see us?

This is the launch of a new website for the Mt. Washington Historical Society!  The blog will serve to keep everyone updated with the current goings-on of the Society.

We had our second monthly meeting for June last night.  After the meeting, we took a fieldtrip to the Lloyd House to see the newly painted dining room.  Dale Salmon and Greg Hilbert did a fantastic job of removing everything from the walls (including an old metal photo displaying track), repairing them, and repainting!  They als...
